This fragrance portrays that wanting and longing for someone, it’s sensual, it’s sexy, it’s intimate. It’s Lust in an olfactive interpretation. It opens with a playful mix of citruses and spices to get you enthralled in its presence. Lime, tangerine, pear mix with ginger, cardamom, and black pepper to create a unique accord that will have you hooked at first sniff. The heart notes are just that. The heart of the fragrance. Jasmine Sambac has often been described as an aphrodisiac and once you smell it, you’ll know why. Jasmine is said to bring together the fiery masculinity (yin) with the soft earthiness of femininity (yang). Immortelle Absolute (Botanical name “Helichrysum Italicum”) is a rich, pungent, and warm material with tea and honey undertones. Immortelle is French for ‘everlasting’ or ‘immortal’. Which is exactly the heart of this fragrance. The longing for everlasting Lust and desire. Hence the name “Immortal Lust”. Then the dry down finishes this seductive fragrance with the perfect blend of woody, sweet, and spicy notes to keep you wanting more and more. The woodiness from the ebony and Agarwood give the base a familiarity that many know and are familiar with. The Myrrh, Tonka, Birch, and Amber give it depth and character and warmth. The vanilla, sugar, and white musk give it a playfulness. And the patchouli, rum, and cloves give it that extra zing that is just the cherry on top. This one was a no brainer to me when coming up with it. Suitable for both men and women (as all of my fragrances are). Makes an amazing gift to be worn or to be given to your significant other for when you’re feeling extra sexy or seductive.
