I remember as a child, my father used to take me to an old school barbershop. The fragrance was something that has always stayed in my memory when i smell fougeres. It is a good childhood memory. That was the inspiration behind this fragrance. This is my take on the classic fougere we are all accustomed too. No use trying to fix something if it isn’t broken. It’s the classic DNA with a few special touches. Opens with a classic combination of lemon, bergamot, and nutmeg, with fresh and green cilantro. Lending a soapy/clean aspect to the opening. Then comes the rosemary, black pepper, rose, basil, and a salty accord lends a mineral feel to contrast the floral and herbs. Then of course the musk, patchouli, and woods. Finished with a note of cypress leaf that adds a greenness that i enjoy. Come on a fragrance journey through a memory with me and create your own memories!
